This role supports the daily operation and reliability of Switch data center network infrastructure. You handle hands-on installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and related hardware, following defined procedures and safety standards.
This role partners closely with Program Management, Data Center Operations, Engineering, and other internal teams while overseeing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners. Success in this role requires clear decision-making, disciplined project execution, early identification of risk, and consistent accountability across teams and projects.

This role requires safe execution, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in live electrical settings. What You’ll Do Install electrical receptacles, junction boxes, and associated hardware.
this role your primary responsibility will be the general organization, preservation and cleanliness of the facilities with an emphasis on customer space. The main areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to: customer and employee common areas, data floor, exterior of the building and around the perimeter, all pertaining to aesthetics.
this role you will support and optimize the operations of the critical infrastructure supporting IT loads in Switch Data Centers, including power, water, and cooling systems. You are also involved in developing solutions for continuous improvement in system performance and utilization, managing utility resourcing, capacity management, change management, efficiency, root cause analysis, design feedback, condition-based maintenance, end-of-life management, and various other data center lifecycle programs.
This role focuses on preventative maintenance, vendor escorting, and basic monitoring of critical infrastructure systems. You work within established procedures and under supervision to help maintain safe, reliable, and continuous facility operations.
