This role serves as a senior technician within Data Center Operations, supporting mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems. You act as a first responder to infrastructure alarms, perform advanced troubleshooting, and mentor Technician I and II team members.
Data Center Construction Field Oversight Leader As a Data Center Construction Field Oversight Leader at Switch, you will provide field oversight across active data center construction projects. You will spend at least 80% of your time at construction sites, evaluating execution against schedule, quality, safety, and operational expectations.
This role maintains the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of flooring across Switch facilities. You are responsible for routine floor care using established methods and equipment, working independently within defined schedules and standards.
this role you will support and optimize the operations of the critical infrastructure supporting IT loads in Switch Data Centers, including power, water, and cooling systems. You are also involved in developing solutions for continuous improvement in system performance and utilization, managing utility resourcing, capacity management, change management, efficiency, root cause analysis, design feedback, condition-based maintenance, end-of-life management, and various other data center lifecycle programs.
This position requires the ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This person may be required to work extended hours during peak work periods.
This role supports the daily operation and reliability of Switch data center network infrastructure. You handle hands-on installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and related hardware, following defined procedures and safety standards.
This role leads the day-to-day execution of network infrastructure operations within a Switch data center. You supervise technicians on shift, ensure work is completed safely and correctly, and act as the first point of escalation for operational issues.
This role leads daily facilities operations within a Switch data center campus. You are responsible for uptime, safety, maintenance execution, and technician team performance across critical electrical and mechanical systems.

This role serves as the subject matter expert for commissioning standards, execution planning, and third-party oversight. You will work with Construction, Design, Integration, and Operations teams to ensure systems are tested, validated, and delivered safely and on schedule.
This role exists to ensure systems are designed, commissioned, and operated to meet mission-critical performance standards. You will act as a field-based technical expert, supporting construction, commissioning, and operations while resolving complex electrical issues and improving system reliability.
This role requires safe execution, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in live electrical settings. What You’ll Do Install electrical receptacles, junction boxes, and associated hardware.
